Happy Monday! Today I’m playing with some WOW! Embossing Powders and Reverse Confetti.
I love the soft gold look of the Gold Pearl. I started out making the flowers for my card. I took the Reverse Confetti Peony set and stamped out the images and heat embossed them with a mixture of the Gold Pearl and the WOW! Changers in Sheen. The Sheen gives the powder a lighter, softer look.
I took Color Burst pigment powders in Ultramarine Blue and Sap Green and added water to get a loose watercolor look for my flowers.
While my flowers were drying, I stamped the Concord & 9th Sketched Stripes and heat embossed them with a random mixture of WOW! Embossing Powder I had saved in a jar from several other past projects. I hate throwing out supplies and love the unique blend and color this mixture of various powders created.
I used the coordinating dies to cut out the flowers and then adhered them to the background with foam tape.
I stamped the small sentiment in the same Gold Pearl to finish off my card.
