I’m so excited to be joining this year’s Coffee Lovers Blog Hop with Topflight Stamps, who is a proud sponsor of the hop! To celebrate our shared love of coffee and crafting, I created a magical coffee-inspired card featuring The Cup stamp set from Chou & Flowers. This sweet set includes two stamps, giving you the option to add the little houses or leave them off. I chose to include them because I loved the idea of creating a whimsical scene tucked inside the cup.
I started by stamping and white heat embossing the images onto my background. Then I sprinkled Lindy’s Gang Boho Dreams Magicals over the embossed images to create a soft boho-style background. I love the dreamy, magical look these powders add, especially when they blend and move around the embossed details.
Once the background was dry, I added some ink blending around the edges to frame the scene and give it a little extra depth. To finish the card, I drew a simple hand-drawn frame and added the perfect sentiment from Lavinia.
