I love this Tropical Leaves Background Stamp and the fine lines of these beautiful leaves.
I started with Bristol Smooth paper and did some Distress Oxide blending with Peacock Feathers, Lucky Clover, and Chipped Sapphire along the edges.
I then used the “Don’t” Sentiment set and just stamped the “Be Happy” portion, for a small sentiment that wouldn’t cover up many of these beautiful leaves.
So, I couldn’t just stop at one card using this beautiful background. I found a couple of alcohol ink backgrounds I had made and stamped on them as well.
It was hard to get a good picture of all the shine on this card. I had made the background from a variety of alcohol inks and used a little blue foil at the end. I thought copper embossed leaves would be the perfect match for this background. Note that if you aren’t using the heavyweight Yupo paper, be quick to heat emboss and you will get some warping. I foam tape to help straighten out the warping but in the end, the texture is fun to work with.
My last card is also using an alcohol ink background I had saved. This time I used white embossing powder and love the brightness it brings to the background.
