Happy Thursday! I’m over at the Topflight Stamp Blog with a couple of bookmarks I made using a stencil from Stamperia. It’s summertime here and I’m hoping to schedule a little reading time into our day so these bookmarks will come in handy.
I had a background I made on watercolor paper with some Dylusions Sprays and thought this stencil would be the perfect for making some pretty bookmarks. I used some Inka Gold Embossing paste in Violet on top of the spray and let it dry.
The purple shine is so pretty and I thought it would be perfect for a couple of bookmarks. I trimmed the paper in half and then used a Corner Chomper tool to round the corners.
I added some sentiments from Visible Image and AALL & Create and used foam tape to adhere them to the bookmarks. Then, I added a little Distress Ink in Black Soot to the edges and used white paint to splatter the bookmarks.
I finished them by adding a hole to the top and found some string in my stash to use for the top.
