Hello friends! It’s February which means it is time for another fun Lindy’s Color Challenge. This month its all about using the Autumn Leaves and Things I Love.
So I love lots of things but for this challenge I focused on mixed media and flowers.
I created a mixed media page using a printed background from Kate Crafts and adhered it to the page using Liquid Matte Medium. After it was dry, I used the PaperArtsty PS377 stencil with embossing paste. Once the paste was dry, I used the Tibetan Poppy Teal and Cattail Copper Brown Magicals in the Autumn Leaves set.
While my page was drying, I stamped and painted up the Alex Syberia Life is Good flowers and watercolored it with Autumn Maple Crimson, Red Hot Poker Orange, and Ponderosa Pines Olive. I love how easy it is to watercolor with these Magicals and add both color and sparkle to any project.
After my page was dry, I painted the Altenew Wood Veneer with Tibetan Poppy Teal and added it to my background.
Before I added my floral image, I used some copper thread behind the flowers for interest.
I finished my page with a PaperArtsy sentiment embossed in Wowzer White and added some black paint around the edge.
