Happy August! A new month means a fun new challenge over at The Flower Challenge. This month the challenge is:
For my card this month I used a gel press print background I made with acrylic paints and bubble wrap. I love the circle imprints the bubble wrap created on my background.
I stamped the Picket Fence A Rose image and clear heat embossed it. I colored it up with my Zig Clean Color Real brush Markers and fussy cut it out to attach to my background with foam tape.
I added a sentiment from the Katzelkraft Whatchamacallit set and white heat embossed it to add to my card.
To finish my card, I added some Pinkfresh gems.
Thank you for stopping by and hope you have a wonderful day and have a chance to play along with us this month over at The Flower Challenge.

Wow! Your card is amazing, I just keep looking at your background it’s brilliant and perfect for your sweet flower to rest on!
Thank you so very much Theresa. It was so fun to make with the gel press.
Fantastic background Ericka and that Rose wowwwww beautiful colour and colouring xxx
I recognized the bubble wrap right away, Ericka, and I love how that background turned out. You did a beautiful job of coloring the rose with Zigs. It’s gorgeous.
Thank you so much Bobby!
The gel press print background with bubble wrap pattern looks awesome, Ericka! The large bloom in contrast to the background is gorgeous as well!
I am in love with your background!! This is STUNNING!!
I have stamped with bubble wrap wrapped around a background stamp block but it didn’t look anywhere as lovely as your gel press background. Maybe it’s time I invested in a gel press….
Yes a gel press is so fun and easy to use and there are so many great ways to create fun backgrounds with them.
What a gorgeous bloom and a clever way to incorporate circles with bubble wrap!
