Happy December! I can’t believe how fast the year has gone. With a new month comes a new challenge at The Flower Challenge. This month challenge is :
Our Guest Designer this month is the fabulous Darnell who was the challenge winner for July and if you get a chance go check out her beautiful cards. This month the challenge will close on the 15th so get your cards in early.
This month I created two cards with the same stamp – Poinsettia Close Up from The Ton.
I love this stamp and use it every year. It is so very fun to color up. This time I used Bristol Smooth cardstock with Merlot ink. I then used my water brush to spread the ink around the petals.
I then added lines and details with my Stabilo Woody pencils and blended out the colors.
I did the same thing with slightly darker colors for my second card.
I added the an older sentiment from The Ton and clear heat embossed it. To finish my cards, I used some white paint splatters and some Pinkfresh jewels.
