Happy August! I hope you are all doing well. This month challenge over at The Flower Challenge is all about adding sparkle.
For my card this month I used the Altenew Budding Thanks along with some Altenew inks and WOW! Embossing for sparkle.
I started out by stamping the flowers using the Altenew inks. I used my MISTI which made it really simple to line up the layers in the set. Once I was done with all the layers, I re-stamped the middle layer with embossing ink and added the embossing powder in Taffeta Pink for the pink flowers and Clear Sparkle for the yellow flowers. I love the added sparkle the embossing powder gives my card.
I then stamped the stems of the flowers and added a little colored pencil shading to give them more dimension.
I added the sentiment with Versafine ink and clear sparkle embossing powder for some additional shine. To finish my card I added some clear sequins.
