I hope you are doing well. It’s June and that means it is time for another Flower Challenge. This month’s challenge is using Navy & One Other color.
Our Guest Designer this month is Jenny Hall from jennyhalldesign.com, go check out here beautiful creations.
Today I made a card using Altenew’s Peony Bouquet.

I stamped the flowers in Weathered Wood Distress Ink and started painting up the flowers with Daniel Smith in Phthalo Blue. I added several layers of the color to build up a darker color. I then added random brush strokes with Graphite Gray to add interest.

Once the flowers were dry, I used the coordinating dies to cut out the flowers. Before placing the flowers on the card base, I stamped several of the leaves in Soft Graphite.

I placed the flowers with foam tape and then added the sentiment from the Altenew Wildflower Garden.

I added some blue splatters to finish of my card. Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a great day!

Navy and grey looks fabulous together Ericka, awesome card again! sorry for the lack of commenting recently too hugs Viv xx
Thank you so much Viv!
Beautiful watercoloring, Ericka, and stamping the leaves directly on the background makes them look hand drawn. It’s a wonderful arrangement.
Ericka, I love this beautiful spray of flowers, the colors look even more intense on a gray background, and I agree, the stamping of the leaves gives the arrangement a 3D look.
Love it.
XO
Thank you so much Maria!
